GURUDWARA SHRI AKALGARH SAHIB is situated in Village Lambwali, Distt Faridkot. This place is blessed with visit of SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI, SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI and SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI. SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI was traveling through village Lambwali, Bhai Mardana ji asked GURU SAHIB for water. GURU SAHIB told Bhai Mardana Ji to go to nearby tibba and get water. There lived a sant who was very bulky body. When Bhai Mardana Ji asked for water, He said my followers will come and will serve water, After kept waiting Bhai Mardana JI came back. GURU SAHIB said "Sadhu you are sitting like a Tython(Saral) and you cannt serve water to people passing by" When sant came to know about this wording, he came and fell on GURU SAHIB's feet, and said "Hey lord i know i got sarap, But please tell me how will i get relief from this. GURU SAHIB told him that he will come in sixth life span. And then will set you free from this Sarap.
SHRI HARGOBIND SAHIB JI came here hunting after battle of Mehraj. People from Sidhian's Village didn't honored GURU SAHIB, So he left from here and rested at Village Malla. GURU SAHIB set Sadhu free from Sarap of GURU NANAK DEV JI.
SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI came here jaito. GURU SAHIB tied horses and stayed for some time for rest. People of Village requested GURU SAHIB that there are snakes on the trees. GURU SAHIB said these are not snakes, These are just lizards. After this, and GURU SAHIB's blessings there is no case of Snale biting in this Village.
