GURUDWARA SHRI CHAUNTRA SAHIB is situated in Village Malla, Distt Faridkot. SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI came here and stayed for three days. GURU SAHIB\"s daughter Bibi Veero JI was married here to Bhai Sadhu Ram Khatri Son of Dharam Chand Khosla. When GURU SAHIB was holding deewan, A Tython (Saral) came. GURU SAHIB touched his head with thumb of Right foot. With touch of GURU SAHIB it died on the spot and its body was torn off. Many such more insects came out of it. When Sangat Asked GURU SAHIB about this incidence, GURU SAHIB told that, Many years ago SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI was traveling through village Lambwali, He asked Bhai Mardana ji to bring water from near by Sadhu. But he refused to give. When SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI came to know about this he said "Sadhu you are sitting like a Tython(Saral) and you cannot serve water to people passing by" Hearing this wording he could understand that he got Sarap. So he fell on GURU SAHIB's feet and said "Hey lord i know i got sarap, But please tell me how will i get relief from this. GURU SAHIB told him that he will come in sixth life span in Village Malla, and then will set you free from this Sarap. So SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI told that he had come here to set him free, And also the other insects were his followers. Whom he hadn't tought the name of Lord. GURU SAHIB got him buried in.
