Gurdwara Sri Jand Sahib, Bir Guru
On the night of 7th Poh, after the battle with the Mughals, SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI, following the command of the five beloved ones (Panj Piare), left the Kachhi Garhi of Sri Chamkaur Sahib. GURU SAHIB reached this location and rested under a Jand tree. Here, GURU SAHIB disciplined informers named Alfu and Gamu. On the 8th of Poh, GURU SAHIB continued his journey towards Jhar Sahib.
