Gurudwara Shri Jhiri Sahib, Basali

 

GURUDWARA SHRI JHIRI SAHIB is situated in Village Basali Nurpur Bedi Distt Ropar. SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI came here after first battle of Nirmohgarh(Bunga Mor) accepting invitation of Raja Salahi Chand. While staying here GURU SAHIB also fought and won Battle of Kamlot. GURU SAHIB stayed here for quite some time and used preach Sangat. GURU SAHIB also planted some tress here and hence the name cam up as Shri Jhiri Sahib.
