GURUDWARA SHRI MANJI SAHIB is situated in Village Aloarkh, Teh Bawanigarh, Distt Sangrur. This village is situated on Bhawanigarh Nabha Road. SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI came here while on Malwa tour. Along with GURU SAHIB was Mata Nanaki Ji, Mata Gujari Ji and army of 300 Singhs. GURU SAHIB came here and rest outside Village Aloarkh. This land belonged to Diwan Todar Mal Ji of this village. When He came to know about GURU SAHIB's visit, He came here along with his family and request for sewa. GURU SAHIB blessed him and told him that he will let him know about the sewa in future.
When Chote Sahibzade and Mata Gujari Ji were cremated at place where now GURUDWARA SHRI JYOTI SAROOP SAHIB is situated, Their asth were sent to here Village of Diwan Todar Mal Ji. Which were then burried in Thada Sahib. These Asth Sahibs are still preserved here at GURUDWARA SAHIB.
