GURUDWARA SHRI RAMSAR SAHIB is situated in village Mehraj Distt Bathinda. SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI came to this area, stopped here. In those times this area belonged to Bhullar Jats. Resident of this village a Sidhu Jat was staying in near by area. He met GURU SAHIB and explained his problem. He told GURU SAHIB these Bhullars are not allowing him to stay int his village and neither they accept their daughters for marriage. And also when ever ladies from their household goes to fetch water from well, Bhullars tease them. GURU SAHIB called BHullars and asked them to give land to Sidhu Jats and also accept there relations, but they refused. GURU SAHIB asked Mohan Ji (a sidhu jat) to When sun sets you people can sit anywhere and start it as your own village. Bhai Mohan Ji started and from some distance from here started covering there own area. And also during the night they raised fencing around it. In the morning when Bhullars came to know about this they tried to fight. But GURU SAHIB himself came to help Sidhu Jats along with his force. With Blessing of GURU SAHIB they won and after that this village belongs to Sidhu Jats.
